"They
were most impressed with it, and raved about the actual Box!!!"
Hazel, UK.
"Just to say that everyone in Australia was very impressed
with the Hamper! The contents, and especially the Box!" Danny,
Madrid, Spain.

Beautiful boxes! Clockwise from top right:-
single-bottle box, tall 'milk' box tray lid and internal insulator,
mini hamper box, handy cutlery carry, two-bottle box, picnic box
with single tray as lid, and centre, picnic box with tray lid and
internal tray.
Over the years we've developed our range of useful and beautiful Hamper
Boxes that we hand craft here at Heart of Mudgee. We even modelled
our distinctive Hot Brand in jewellers' wax and had it bronze caste
by a local sculptor.
Box Features:-
- constructed in natural coloured pine - mainly 3-ply- both light
and strong, and radiata. Sides and lids are nailed and glued for
added strength.
- with lids on Picnic boxes and tall 'Milk' Box make handy seats.
- handles are made from cotton sash-cord - much kinder on the
hands than rope.
- corners and edges are sanded down to minimise splinters and
achieve a high standard of finish.
- sides and lids are individually hot branded with 'Heart of
Mudgee's distinctive brand. Heat flares around the brand are natural
quality of pine timber which contains resins.
- box design and the hamper that applies follow:-
two-tray Picnic box - 'The Shire'
one tray Picnic box - 'Home Rule' and 'Cudgegong'
tall Milk box with small tray lid & Milk Insulator -
'Eurunderee' and 'Mount Frome'
handy Cutlery Carry - 'Piambong', 'Mudgee Abroad', 'Mudgee
Bliss', 'Mudgee Lass',
'Mudgee Cheer', 'Verjuice'n'Virgin'
two -bottle box with slide lid - 'Tallawang Taste', 'Bocoble
BBQ', 'Mullamuddy', 'Frog Rock', 'Just Add Cheese'.
one-bottle box with slide lid - 'Valley Choice', 'Lue Port',
'Merry Meroo'. |
If you think that the names of some hampers sound funny, that's
because we named most after villages & localities in the Mudgee
Region. Many such names were derived from either from existing native
names for places, or have been named after a historical event or
land-mark.
